Looking after your Plaque outdoors.

Looking After Your Blue Plaque Outdoors

Our plaques are designed for indoor and outdoor display and are made using durable materials. With a little basic care, they will stay looking great for years to come.

Here are a few simple tips:

UV Protection (Optional)

To help maintain colour and finish over time — especially in brighter spots — you may choose to apply a light UV-protective spray. One quick coat is usually enough, with optional re-application every couple of years.

Placement (Important)

For the longest life outdoors, install your plaque in a shaded or partially shaded area.

Like many outdoor decorative items, continuous direct sunlight and high heat over long periods can cause natural expansion or slight warping. Placing your plaque where it avoids intense sun helps it look its best long-term.

It's important to avoid installing your plaque in intense sun positions if installed outdoors. If you are to use it in a sunny area, we recommend using an additional hard as nails like glue across the back surface to ensure warping can't occur.

🌿 Built for Real Use

Our plaques have been enjoyed across homes, gardens, schools and public spaces for years. With sensible placement and optional UV care, yours will stay looking great
