Accessibility Statement for thehogathworkshop.com

The Hogath Workshop is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

We build our website using the Shopify platform, and currently use the Studio theme (version 15.4), which includes a number of accessibility-supporting features. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards wherever possible.

Our Accessibility Features

The Studio 15.4 theme and our website include features such as:

  • Responsive design for various devices and screen sizes
  • Support for keyboard navigation
  • Semantic HTML structure for screen readers
  • Text alternatives for images where applicable
  • High-contrast colour settings where possible
  • Clear focus states for interactive elements
  • Accessible form labels and inputs
  • Skip-to-content functionality

We also continuously review the site when adding new content or features.

Work in Progress

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are working on improving:

  • Alt text consistency across all product images
  • Additional keyboard navigation testing for third-party scripts
  • Clearer link text in some areas
  • Continued optimisation of colour contrast in banner text areas
  • We recognise that some content may not yet be fully optimised, especially user-generated customisation elements or third-party embedded apps

Third-Party Apps & Tools

Our site uses third-party Shopify apps and integrations (e.g., product personalisation tools, analytics, marketing widgets, and checkout services). While we aim to only use services with good accessibility practices, we cannot guarantee full WCAG compliance for external providers.

If you encounter issues with an app-based feature, please tell us — we will assist and escalate to the provider if needed.
